Biography

Mrs Maria Mopereo in 2001 started an early child learning centre to help her community in providing quality education for young children. In those years many young children were seen running around on streets and some not looked after as parents would be at work. The founder then saw an opportunity to group these children to teach them as well as provide a safe place for them while their parents are at work. The founder was so passionate that she even opened her house to some of the children who needed further home care over and above school care. The founder holds a 21 years’ experience in day care community development, for years she has managed to establish and run day care centres in Diepsloot and Cosmo City with no donations or sponsorship, only from her contributions, school fees and church fundraising.
